I’m a huge fan of the Leadership Institute, based out of Arlington, Virgina. When I lived in Lorton and worked in DC I availed myself every opportunity to attend its training schools. They focused on campaigns, fundraising, and strategy. Attending its Youth Leadership School is a rite of passage for college students into the field of conservative campaigning.
In the schools it’s constantly stressed that learning never ends. And you can learn by learning from the experiences of others. Morton Blackwell, the founder of the Leadership Institute, prepared a list of 26 books for young conservatives to digest and to hone their skills and conservative credentials.
